  • We do not sell data.

  • We do not share data unless compelled by law.

  • We only ask for personal information if it’s needed to provide a service.

  • We collect only the data we need for the site.

  • We don’t keep that data for longer than absolutely required.

  • If you would like any content featuring your data or image removed from the site please inform us at our contact email address.

  • You have a right to be forgotten.

  • We will contact and inform members in the event of a data breach.

  • By signing up for the VSO Directory you are consenting to sharing your data publicly via the VSO Directory.

  • By signing up for the VSO Directory you consent to the use of your data in a non-identifiable form in reports and analysis on the VCSE sector peformed by VCAS 20/20.

  • By uploading an image to our site you acknowledge that you have recieved permission from the people within to share an image containing them.

Terms and Conditions

By signing up as a site member you agree to follow and adhere to following rules and guidelines:

  • Consent For Sharing - You will make all reasonable efforts to make sure that any persons or people featured in images, news updates or sector stories have had an option to opt out of appearing on the website.

  • Zero Tolerance for Abuse - You will not post offensive or abusive content. Site admin reserves the right to make the judgement on and moderate your comments and submitted content.

  • Mutual Support - Sunderland VCSE Marketplace was developed to support and encourage cooperation between VCSE Organisations and Individuals working in the Sunderland Area. If we have any reason to believe that you are using the information contained in the site to attack, defame or otherwise work to undermine another organisation we reserve the right to ban your account, and, if neccessary, IP ban any associated addresses from the site.

  • No Unsolicited Sales - While we encourage users to use the groups section of the member area to post about resources and items they would like to swap, giveaway or sell, we do not intend the VCSE Marketplace to be a major outlet for organisations or companies selling items. Contacting users outside of an area indicating it would be appropriate to do so, or using the data contained in the VSO Directory to make targeted sales calls and leads generation is grounds for suspension, and on repeat offenses, banning.

Sunderland VCSE Marketplace may contact you about matters arising from the site, or where appropriate, with information relating to the sector. Any communications not directly relating to the use of the site will have an mailing tag and unsubscribe link that will allow you to unsubscribe from any further non-essential contact.
